During the night of February 9, the enemy attacked with 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, as well as 149 strike UAVs of types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and others — around 90 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 9:30 AM, air defense had shot down and suppressed 116 enemy UAVs of types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and others.
In addition, part of the Iskander-M ballistic missiles was intercepted and did not reach their targets.
“Missile strikes and 23 strike UAVs hit 15 locations, and the debris of downed (drones) fell in 6 locations”, — the statement reads.
