During the night of February 6 (from 18:00 on February 5) and throughout the morning, the enemy attacked with 328 strike UAVs of types Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the AFU on February 6.
The enemy attacked from: Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and temporarily occupied Donetsk — about 200 of them Shaheds. It also launched two Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and five Kh-59/69 guided air missiles.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, EW units, UAV units, and mobile fire teams of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
As of 12:30, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down/suppressed 297 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types. Due to active resistance by the Defense Forces, the enemy missiles did not reach their targets; information is being clarified.
There were 22 UAV impacts recorded in 14 locations, as well as debris falling in two locations.
“The attack continues, several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules! Let’s hold the sky! Together — to victory!” — the Air Force stated.
Over the past day, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces grouping struck or destroyed 1,209 enemy targets.
Drone units of the Joint Forces’ Iron Brigade are continuously destroying enemy UAVs (“chortolyoty”) and personnel.
On the night of March 20, the enemy attacked with 156 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones, “Gerbera”, “Italmas”, and other types.
Over the past day, Russian occupation forces lost 1,610 personnel on the battlefield.
A UAV operator of the “Typhoon” unmanned systems unit with the callsign “Nimets” can strike the enemy even blindly.
