On the night of January 27, the enemy attacked with 165 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, “Italmas”, and other types of drones, about 100 of which were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:00 a.m., air defense shot down and suppressed 135 enemy UAVs in the north, south, center, and east of the country.
“Hits by 24 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAV debris at 9 locations”, — the statement said.
