On the Pokrovsk axis, the operational situation in the area of responsibility of the “Rubizh” Brigade has not changed significantly. Frost is making adjustments to combat operations.
This was reported on the air of the “United News” national telethon by Volodymyr Cherniak, an officer of the “Rubizh” Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
According to him, due to low temperatures, the enemy’s mechanized component has declined — equipment cannot operate normally in such frost. The same applies to the UAV segment. However, this does not concern manpower, as assault troops continue to be sent forward.
“There are thousands of so-called ‘disposables’ who, under the threat of execution, are simply sent forward into assault actions. We recorded cases when during such assaults, Russian servicemen received even minor wounds and simply froze to death in the cold, since evacuation, if it happens at all, takes quite a long time”, — the officer of the “Rubizh” Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine said.
Enemy infantry assaults continue, though not as intensively. The occupiers are mostly “sitting in holes”, hiding from the frost.
“This period of frost coincided precisely with rotations of enemy personnel. The enemy began pulling in new personnel. Accordingly, accumulation is still ongoing. Most likely, during the thaw, the enemy will fully intensify its actions”, — Volodymyr Cherniak concluded.
