President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov have approved personnel decisions aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense, including the candidate for a new Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responsible for the short-range air defense system.
The Head of State announced this on social media on January 19.
“The task is to transform the use of interceptors, the work of mobile fire groups, and other units in such a way that this is effective one hundred percent”, — the President emphasized.
According to him, an audit of weapons and necessary equipment supplies to the troops is ongoing. He stressed that a guaranteed number of drones must be provided to every combat brigade.
The President also reported that the development of a technological battlefield control system and real-time destruction confirmation of the occupier continues.
“The task is to launch tools for extremly operative analysis of every enemy strike and every one of our combat operations. I am grateful to everyone who ensures the most advanced solutions for the Ukrainian army. We will present these solutions”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
Over the past day, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces grouping struck or destroyed 1,209 enemy targets.
