Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of a fully automated system for distributing UAVs among military units. The path of a drone from warehouse intake to receipt by a unit has been reduced by 2–3 times — to approximately one day.
This was reported on Mykhailo Fedorov’s Telegram channel.
Fast logistics of enemy engagement assets is a key challenge for unit effectiveness on the battlefield. Manual distribution of drones between units caused a number of problems: duplicate requests, slow issuance, errors due to the human factor, and outdated data. Military units could not plan operations without a clear understanding of UAV delivery timelines.
Thanks to automation, it is now possible to obtain high-quality data that allows:
Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the automatic distribution of drones among units operates on the SAP platform. The system covers the entire drone supply chain — from procurement to transfer to a unit.
“For the military, this means faster supply and more accurate planning. For the state, it means transparent control of deliveries”, — he explained.
Over the past day, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces grouping struck or destroyed 1,209 enemy targets.
Drone units of the Joint Forces’ Iron Brigade are continuously destroying enemy UAVs (“chortolyoty”) and personnel.
On the night of March 20, the enemy attacked with 156 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones, “Gerbera”, “Italmas”, and other types.
Over the past day, Russian occupation forces lost 1,610 personnel on the battlefield.
A UAV operator of the “Typhoon” unmanned systems unit with the callsign “Nimets” can strike the enemy even blindly.
The first cycle of testing, evaluation, verification, and validation of unmanned aerial systems took place at NATO’s innovation range for unmanned systems.
