Over the past day, Russian invaders lost 1,370 personnel killed and wounded.

This was reported on the morning of January 16 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 16, 2026, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel — approximately 1,224,460 (+1,370)

  • tanks — 11,563 (+6)

  • armored fighting vehicles — 23,908 (+4)

  • artillery systems — 36,230 (+48)

  • MLRS — 1,614 (+3)

  • air defense systems — 1,277 (+0)

  • aircraft — 434 (+0)

  • helicopters — 347 (+0)

  • operational-tactical UAVs — 107,884 (+527)

  • cruise missiles — 4,163 (+0)

  • ships / boats — 28 (+0)

  • submarines — 2 (+0)

  • automotive equipment and fuel tankers — 74,486 (+180)

  • special equipment — 4,044 (+2)
