On January 12, the final batch of equipment from Japan for the Defense Forces of Ukraine arrived in Poland.
This was reported by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine on its Facebook page.
As of June 2024, the Japanese Ministry of Defense and the Japan Self-Defense Forces transferred 101 units of equipment to Ukraine in response to a request from the Ukrainian government.
In addition, as extra support, the Ministry of Defense of Japan and the Self-Defense Forces decided to provide about 30 more vehicles in October 2024.
The final batch of 14 vehicles (half-ton trucks and highly mobile vehicles) arrived in Poland, completing their delivery to Ukraine.
“Japan also provided two containers of medical supplies. Japan will continue to provide Ukraine with all possible support”, — the embassy said.
