DIU fighters continue to carry out missions on Zmiinyi Island — a strategically important point in the Black Sea that remains one of the symbols of resistance to Russian aggression.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on January 8.
Together with DIU special forces, Marine Roman Hrybov arrived on the island — one of the defenders of Zmiinyi in the first days of the full-scale invasion and the author of the phrase about the “Russian warship”, which became a symbol of Ukrainian resistance.
The trip to Zmiinyi and the organization of filming were ensured by fighters of the DIU “Tymur Special Unit.”
