“There is no fixed line of contact”: Occupiers are being prevented from advancing on the Lyman Axis
On the Lyman axis, the enemy continues to use infiltration tactics with small assault groups, as it has an advantage in manpower.
This was stated on Suspilne TV by Maksym Bilousov, Head of the Communications Section of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade.
“The enemy does not stop its attacks and continues trying to move forward. Our main task is to stabilize the situation so that it fails. Our soldiers are constantly working to push the enemy out of populated areas”, — Maksym Bilousov said.
However, he noted certain nuances. First, the enemy has more manpower. It is not always well trained, but it is dangerous in any case. The enemy also has well-trained drone operators, which complicates logistics, especially so-called ‘loitering’ drones.
“There is no fixed line of contact — this is the reality of today’s war. It is precisely the Russians’ tactic of infiltration by small groups that has led to the emergence of such large gray zones. Enemy infantry may be present in a certain area, but they do not have full control over it. The difficulty lies in the fact that it takes many resources and constant attention to continuously detect and destroy them”, — Maksym Bilousov explained.
