On the Kupiansk axis, the 77th Separate Airmobile Dnipro Brigade of the 7th Air Assault Corps disrupted an enemy attempt to carry out an assault using the Soyuz gas pipeline.

The brigade reported this on social media.

The enemy attempted to use the gas pipeline for concealed movement and the subsequent buildup of forces.

The adversary operated north of Novoplatonivka — toward Nova Kruhlakivka and Zahryzove. About 50 personnel were involved in the attempted breakthrough.

The 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade detected the enemy’s intentions in a timely manner and, in coordination with adjacent units, halted the assault. The elimination of at least 40 enemy servicemen has been confirmed.

As a result of the operation, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives, and the situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility was stabilized.

Within the area of responsibility of the 77th Separate Airmobile Dnipro Brigade, the enemy continues to operate in small groups and attempts to infiltrate between positions. The occupiers’ actions are under constant control by the Defense Forces and are being suppressed.

Units of the 77th Separate Airmobile Dnipro Brigade continue to carry out combat missions on the Kupiansk axis.
