Over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 990 personnel and 915 units of military equipment.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 5, 2026, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel — approximately 1,212,520 (+990);

  • tanks — 11,507 (+8);

  • armored combat vehicles — 23,857 (+2);

  • artillery systems — 35,785 (+29);

  • multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) — 1,592 (+2);

  • air defense systems — 1,268 (+0);

  • aircraft — 434 (+0);

  • helicopters — 347 (+0);

  • operational-tactical UAVs — 100,564 (+704);

  • cruise missiles — 4,137 (+0);

  • warships / boats — 28 (+0);

  • submarines — 2 (+0);

  • motor vehicles and fuel tankers — 72,945 (+169);

  • special equipment — 4,036 (+1).
