As part of reducing the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, during the night of December 3, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Dmitriyevskaya” oil depot in Russia’s Tambov region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 3.

The facility is used to support the needs of the Russian occupation army. The target was hit, followed by a fire at the site — according to preliminary information, several fuel storage tanks are burning. The results of the strikes are being clarified.

In addition, a technical observation post on the stationary offshore platform MSP-4 in the Black Sea waters was hit.

According to preliminary information, the occupiers’ UAV crew was destroyed and the surface situation radar on the self-elevating floating drilling platform “Sivash” was damaged. Other results are being clarified.

It has also been confirmed that three reconnaissance-strike UAVs of the “Orion” type were destroyed during the strike on the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea) on November 27, 2025.

The cost of one such Russian drone is estimated at approximately $5 million. The aircraft has a wingspan of 16.3 meters and can remain airborne for up to 24 hours.

At the same time, the destruction of the “Livny” oil depot in Russia’s Oryol region on December 2, 2025, has been confirmed. Two RV-5000 storage tanks caught fire as a result of strikes by attack UAVs.

“The Defense Forces are taking measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and to force Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine. More to come! Glory to Ukraine!” — the General Staff’s report said.
