President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held separate phone conversations with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
The Head of State thanked Ursula von der Leyen for her support. According to him, Ukraine is in full coordination with the European Commission. The leaders discussed the diplomatic situation and share a common view on key issues.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the President of the European Commission pays very close attention to the need to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience amid constant Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and the energy sector.
During the conversation with Mark Rutte, the President discussed the agenda for the coming days, which will be very important, and thanked him for his support.
“The parties are closely coordinating their steps. The Head of State emphasized that joint actions and joint positions will be extremely effective in the activity of Ukraine and all partners”, — the statement reads.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte agreed to continue contacts over the coming days.
