President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron.

The leaders spoke for several hours, discussing the details of negotiations on ending the war and the system of future security guarantees. The Head of State emphasized the importance of an active stance by world leaders in the current geopolitical conditions.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the conversation was meaningful, and the parties were able to work through “a great many details.”
“The main focus was on negotiations to end the war and on security guarantees. Peace must be truly reliable”, — the Ukrainian leader noted.

The President stressed the urgency of diplomatic processes and emphasized that the war must end as soon as possible.
“Much depends now on the activity of each leader. Today we will continue talks with other leaders as well”, — Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
