President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced ongoing negotiations with the United States regarding the supply of additional Patriot air defense systems.

He reported this on Saturday, November 8, against the backdrop of another combined attack by Russian forces on several of our cities, calling the strike a vivid demonstration of Russian audacity.

At the same time, the President noted that the Defense Forces managed to neutralize about 400 drones and part of the missiles.

“Only a few systems in the world can effectively shoot down such missiles, and to cover our entire territory, we need significantly more systems and many more missiles for those systems. We are working with our partners, with America, to purchase additional Patriots, and we are counting heavily on their support”, — the President added.
