The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced an agreement with his German counterpart, Boris Pistorius, on defense-industrial cooperation between the two countries.
He reported the signing of the corresponding agreement on Wednesday, October 15, on his social media accounts.
“The agreement we signed establishes a foundation for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of defense industry, technology, and innovation. It will contribute to the development of joint industrial projects for the production in Ukraine of Lynx infantry fighting vehicles and ammunition, as well as the repair of Gepard anti-aircraft systems and Leopard tanks”, — the statement reads.
