After a successful attack by Ukrainian underwater naval drones on a Russian submarine in Novorossiysk, the Russians are trying to improve the protection system of permanent basing points of their Black Sea Fleet.

This was stated live on the national telethon “United News” by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.
“In fact, it’s hard to invent anything new. We have already seen everything, from submarines painted on the pier to boom barriers. What is particularly interesting about this case is that the base is indeed equipped with various means of detecting underwater and surface situations. How such a device managed to get there is, so to speak, a ‘challenge with a big asterisk.’ And selectively hitting a specific target.
