In the Lyman direction, pilots of the Signum Battalion disrupted the enemy’s attempts to establish air control over the positions of the Defense Forces.
This was reported in a video published on the Signum Battalion’s page.
The enemy actively uses unmanned aerial vehicles for reconnaissance, artillery fire adjustment, and strikes on Ukrainian positions. However, Signum pilots are consistently depriving the adversary of this capability — detecting targets, tracking them, and destroying them while still in the air.
According to the unit, the destroyed targets included two Lancet loitering munitions, four Zala reconnaissance UAVs, and one KVO-type drone. These systems are used by Russian forces to guide artillery and search for targets in the frontline zone.
The unit emphasizes that the airspace above Ukrainian positions remains under constant control, significantly complicating enemy reconnaissance and attack preparation.
