On the night of January 10 (from 18:00 on January 9), the enemy attacked using one Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Russia’s Kursk region and 121 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched strike drones from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 80 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 94 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits of one ballistic missile and 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at one location.
