On the first day of the new year, police recorded 1,519 enemy strikes in Donetsk region. As a result of Russian shelling, one person was killed and two others were wounded.

“In Druzhkivka, Russians killed a civilian with an FPV drone strike and wounded another person. One wounded person was reported in Kostiantynivka, injured as a result of an enemy FPV drone strike”, — the statement said.
Russian forces also struck Sloviansk with two drones — Granat-4 and Geran-2. An apartment building, four private houses, and a café were damaged.
