Why can’t the war be won with drones alone, and what role do assault units play in modern warfare? How…
On October 31, 2025, as a result of a special operation by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, a strategically important military facility of the aggressor state — the “Kol’tsevoy” fuel pipeline — was disabled.
The pipeline had supplied resources to the russian occupation army for waging its genocidal war against the Ukrainian people.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported this on November 1.
The site of the successful disabling of this critical military infrastructure facility is located in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region.
“The anti-drone net and the ‘protection’ of the enemy facility by armed security did not help — all three lines used by the aggressor to transport gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel exploded successfully and simultaneously. The fuel pipeline has been disabled”, — the DIU stated.
The aggressor has deployed its special services and repair crews to the site of the explosion.
It is noted that another successful DIUoperation on russian territory is a serious blow to the military capabilities of the aggressor state, as well as to its economy, particularly in the Moscow region.
“The length of the ‘Kol’tsevoy’ main fuel pipeline is 400 kilometers. The fuel transported through the pipeline came from the Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow oil refineries. Annually, ‘Kol’tsevoy’ was capable of pumping up to 3 million tons of aviation fuel, up to 2.8 million tons of diesel fuel, and up to 1.6 million tons of gasoline”, — the DIU explained.
