President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, during which the parties discussed the continuation of the Czech initiative to supply artillery shells and agreed to promptly work through other proposals aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
The Head of State reported this on his official page.
“I spoke with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Czech Republic has been actively supporting Ukraine and our people. We appreciate all the assistance provided, and today we discussed its continuation”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President also informed his Czech counterpart about Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities, in particular about daily attacks involving hundreds of drones.
“We discussed the Czech initiative to supply artillery shells. There are also other ideas that will help strengthen Ukraine and our defense right now. We agreed that our teams will promptly work through all of them”, — the Head of State summarized.
