Shortly afterward, the Unmanned Systems Forces clarified that operators of the 59th Brigade destroyed a transport-combat Mi-8 helicopter using an FPV drone in the area of the settlement of Kotliarivka.
“The Mi-8 is a Russian multipurpose helicopter used for transporting personnel and cargo, conducting medical evacuation, as well as serving as a platform for air support of ground units. The cost of a single such helicopter is at least 6 million U.S. dollars”, — the report states.
