Ukraine’s Defence Minister Yevhenii Khmara met with representatives of Ukrainian defence companies and industry associations.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the Minister thanked manufacturers for their contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defence capabilities.

The participants discussed current frontline needs, new technologies and developments for the Defence Forces, solutions to counter russian threats, as well as opportunities to scale up Ukrainian defence production.

Yevhenii Khmara emphasized that the Ministry of Defence would work to establish predictable and clear rules for manufacturers.

At the same time, direct dialogue with representatives of the defence industry remains one of the priorities.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of exports. The Ministry of Defence emphasized that meeting the needs of the frontline remains the top priority. However, the export of Ukrainian defence technologies could contribute to the development of the defence industry and attract additional resources for Ukraine’s defence.

“Our task is to work together to create conditions for the development of a strong Ukrainian defence industry capable of scaling up production and providing the frontline with what it needs,” Yevhenii Khmara said.
