On 29 July and during the night of 30 July, units of Ukraine's Defence Forces struck a number of important enemy facilities.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on 30 July.

On 29 July, the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Perm, in Russia’s Perm Krai, was hit.

A strike on the facility was confirmed, followed by a fire on the plant’s premises.

According to the General Staff, Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez is one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation, with a capacity of around 13 million tonnes of crude oil per year.

The plant produces motor petrol, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, bitumen, lubricants and other petroleum products, which are used, among other things, to meet the needs of the Russian Federation’s military-industrial complex and armed forces.

In addition, Ukrainian troops struck the Prymorskyi Posad training ground in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.

“Ukraine’s Defence Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at halting the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. To be continued!” the General Staff said.
