“FP-9 Can Easily Reach Targets in Moscow”: Ukrainian Engineers Develop New 800-km Ballistic Missile
Ukrainian engineers are developing a new FP-9 ballistic missile with a range of up to 800 km, potentially capable of striking targets in Moscow.
This was stated by Denys Shtilerman, co-founder and chief designer of the defense company Fire Point, in an interview with ArmyTV.
“FP-9 will easily hit targets in Moscow because of its very high terminal speed. Iskander currently flies about 800 m/s, while ours will exceed 1,000 m/s”, — he explained.
Missile tests are planned for early summer.
