“Sculptor” is a fighter of the special unit “Artan X” who has gone from a machine gunner to the commander of a platoon of ground robotic systems.
The story of the warrior was published on the page of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
He used to create statues and panels, and now he shapes a new reality on the battlefield.
Today he works in an area where technology is aimed at logistics and striking the enemy.
In the interview he spoke about his experience, the technological evolution of DIU, and why elitism is first and foremost responsibility for a comrade.
“The speed of war changes literally every six months. In our unit, after every mission we undergo retraining taking into account all nuances and technological progress. Drones and robots are modernizing very quickly — and we must adapt instantly to remain effective”, — the intelligence officer says.
For him, service in “Artan X” is a conscious choice and a chance for a достойне future.
He is convinced that everyone who is ready to fight for their freedom should be where their resources will work to the maximum.
“I had a difficult past, but here I was given the opportunity to start life from a clean slate. I cannot allow the enemy to arrive in a tank and mock my family. I am ready to die for freedom because it is the freedom of the people I love”, — the fighter said.
One drop — four prisoners: our bomber forced Russians to surrender
The crew of heavy bombers from the 429th Unmanned Systems Brigade “Achilles” not only stopped but also captured an enemy assault group.
Footage of the combat work was published on March 4 on the brigade’s channel.
On the Vovchansk direction, an enemy assault group was detected. The group hid in a shelter.
Our bomber carried out a successful drop on it.
After that one of the occupiers left the shelter with his hands raised, showing that he was surrendering.
Soon three more of his accomplices, realizing their hopeless situation, also decided to surrender.
The bomber was equipped with additional drops to eliminate the enemy, but Ukrainian servicemen comply with international humanitarian law, which prohibits firing at those who have clearly expressed their intention to surrender.
“As a result of the successful work of the bomber crew, all four occupiers surrendered.
A drone from adjacent units escorted them to Ukrainian positions where they surrendered to our comrades from the Ground Forces.
This is an example of true brotherhood between units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carrying out a common task”, — the “Achilles” brigade noted.
