As part of measures to reduce the offensive capabilities of the russian aggressor, yesterday and on the night of January 28, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of targets in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of the aggressor state.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 28.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, concentrations of enemy manpower and a UAV control point were hit near Velyka Novosilka, as well as enemy manpower concentrations in the areas of Shakhove and Hryhorivka.
Units of the Defense Forces also struck the “Khokholska” oil depot in Voronezh region of russia. Ignition of petroleum products was confirmed — dense smoke was observed.
In particular, an enemy ammunition depot was hit near Nyzhnia Duvanka in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region; enemy manpower concentrations near the settlement of Huliaipole (temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region) and a battalion command post near Berezove (temporarily occupied territory of Dnipropetrovsk region).
A strike on an enemy manpower concentration was also recorded in Kolotylivka, Belgorod region of russia.
In addition, the results of a recent strike on the “Tamanneftegaz” oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai, russia, were clarified: a fire covering approximately 6,200 m² and damage to three storage tanks (10,000 m³ each) were confirmed.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at weakening the enemy’s offensive capabilities and reducing its military-economic potential in order to compel russia to cease armed aggression against Ukraine”, — the General Staff stated.
