The drone manufacturing plant in Taganrog, recently struck by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy, was severely damaged. Most likely, the enterprise has completely stopped producing “Molniya” UAVs.
This was stated on the Unified News telethon by Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy.
According to him, Russians are currently intensively using large numbers of kamikaze drones. The struck plant was the location where these UAVs — primarily Molniya drones — were produced. A new workshop had been set up there to manufacture the drones.
“‘Molniyas’ have really become a serious problem for many. Russians are now using them to strike cities. Some of them even reached Mykolaiv. So this is indeed a major issue”, — Pletenchuk said.
That is why it began to be “addressed.” During the operation, missiles used exclusively by the Ukrainian Navy were employed. The plant buildings were destroyed completely.
“The workshop was slightly modernized”, — the Navy spokesperson stated ironically.
