An unmanned systems operator of the “Khyzhak” Brigade under the Patrol Police Department married his beloved directly at a combat position.
According to Ukrainian defenders, he used video communication and the Diia mobile application.
“An aerial reconnaissance operator with the call sign ‘Pehur’ is carrying out combat missions in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. His beloved is named Tetiana. Due to the war, she went abroad. They see each other only during short leaves, so they decided not to postpone life ‘until after the war’ — and to start a family even at a distance. Valerii made the proposal during his leave. And on January 9, the couple formalized their marriage through the Diia app by placing electronic signatures”, — the message says.
