While looking for temporary work via a mobile application, a citizen of Moldova agreed, for money, to set fire to vehicles used by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported on January 9 by the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On October 28, 2025, the man poured a flammable substance on a car parked near a residential building in the city of Bila Tserkva and set it on fire.
The convicted man recorded his actions on a mobile phone in order to provide video proof of completing the “task” and receive payment.
He was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Until the verdict enters into legal force, he will remain in custody.
