On the outskirts of the village of Vilcha in the Vovchansk district of Kharkiv region, units of the Defense Forces thwarted another attempt by the enemy to entrench themselves, inflicting significant losses.
This was reported in a publication on the page of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade.
According to the brigade, the enemy operates using small infantry groups, actively employing drones and guided aerial munitions. These were the actions the occupiers attempted to use to advance in the Vilcha area.
However, all attempts ended in significant losses for the enemy.
Clearance operations and drone work
Strike-and-search groups of the 57th Brigade carried out clearance operations in the settlement and its outskirts. FPV drones systematically worked on identified enemy shelters.
The result of the combat operations — up to a company of eliminated Russian servicemen and nine captured occupiers.
“Murchyky” show results
Footage from the battlefield was released by the “Murchyky” Unmanned Systems Battalion, which documented the consequences of strikes on enemy manpower and the course of clearance operations.
The brigade emphasizes that control over the sector has been maintained, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives and is forced to retreat, leaving behind killed and captured personnel.
