As part of efforts to reduce the enemy’s offensive potential, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the capacities of an enemy oil refinery, an ammunition depot, and areas where occupying forces were concentrated.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders struck the facilities of the Slavneft–YANOS oil refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl Oblast.
It is one of the largest oil refineries of the occupiers, capable of processing from 15 million tonnes of crude oil and oil condensate per year. It is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian invaders.
Explosions and a large fire were recorded in the target area. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, with the aim of reducing the enemy’s offensive potential, an ammunition depot was struck in the area of the village of Avdiivske (formerly Pervomaiske), as well as enemy manpower concentration areas in the vicinity of Myrnohrad and Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast.
Enemy losses are being clarified.
“The Defense Forces will continue to take measures to undermine the offensive potential of the Russian invaders and to force the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine”, — the statement said.
