Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal addressed the participants of the Sixth International Forum “Effective Governance and Integrity Building in the Security and Defense Sector”, during which a new document in the field of anti-corruption activities was presented.
The Minister of Defense reported this on social media.
Over the past year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has built a comprehensive system for managing anti-corruption activities and has significantly reduced risks in the areas of military asset management, procurement, logistics support, and personnel processes.
Among the tools created to identify potential corrupt practices, the Minister named the Register of Corruption Risks, the new Anti-Corruption Program of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for 2025-2026, more than six hundred control measures, and hundreds of materials transferred to law enforcement agencies.

The work of the digital platform DOT-Chain Defence was highlighted separately, as it has become an example of innovation and transparency in defense procurement. Thanks to this tool, units can directly order the necessary products from manufacturers, avoiding intermediaries. In just four months of operation, equipment worth more than UAH 6 billion was supplied through the system.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to address the forum participants. We share a common goal — to make the security and defense sector stronger”, — the Minister of Defense said.
