In August, deep strikes on russia’s strategic facilities reached 1,500 kilometers into russian territory.

On Wednesday, September 2, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

In particular, to reduce the aggressor state’s defense-industrial capabilities and create a cognitive effect, 12 major oil refineries, two gas-processing and petrochemical facilities, and three major fuel terminals and oil depots were hit.

Among them:

  • LUKOIL-Nizhegorodniinefteproekt — about 800 km from the state border;
  • Syzran Oil Refinery — about 800 km;
  • Kirishi Oil Refinery — about 450 km;
  • TANECO — about 1,200 km;
  • Slavneft-YANOS — about 700 km;
  • LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez — about 500 km;
  • Novokuibyshev Oil Refinery — about 1,000 km;
  • Saratov Oil Refinery — about 700 km;
  • Bashneft-Novoil — about 1,400 km;
  • Ilsky Oil Refinery — about 400 km;
  • Afipsky Oil Refinery — about 400 km;
  • Orsknefteorgsintez — about 1,500 km;
  • Tobolskneftekhim (central gas fractionation unit with a capacity of 6.6 million tonnes of feedstock per year) — about 1,900 km;
  • Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant (two U-272 gas separation units) — about 1,200 km.

The destruction of raw-material infrastructure creates shortages of specific components, directly affecting weapons production, including rocket and aviation fuel, explosives, composite materials, and components for unmanned systems.

It is also noted that the Defense Forces focused their strikes on the most vulnerable technological links, such as distillation, hydrocracking, and catalytic reforming units.
