The President said russia is using Ukraine as a testing ground for terror tactics that could threaten other countries as well.

This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the head of state, over the past 24 hours alone, russian forces have struck civilian infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine.

In Kyiv, a Shahed drone hit one of the universities during classes. At the time of the attack, 160 students were in a shelter, which helped prevent casualties.

In Odesa, a residential building and city infrastructure were damaged in a nighttime strike. Five people, including a child, were injured.

In Kherson, russian forces attacked a building used by rescuers and police, while in the Kharkiv region, thousands of people were left without electricity following a strike. There were also injuries.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that air raid alerts remain in effect in many regions due to the threat posed by jet-powered drones and aerial bombs. The President said the world is not responding firmly enough to the new escalation of russian strikes.

“When russian-Iranian ‘Shaheds’ carry out such round-the-clock terror in Europe, this cannot remain a problem for only one of our countries,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

According to him, every attack on Ukrainian cities and villages is not only an act of terror against Ukraine but also a testing ground for tactics that russia could use against other states.

The President called on international partners to take decisive action now. According to him, Ukraine needs additional air defense systems, stronger sanctions pressure on russia, and a significant expansion of defense production.

“Action is needed now. Evil must be stopped when it reveals itself,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
