As part of efforts to reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, during the night of November 28, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia’s Saratov region, a UAV storage site at the “Saky” airfield, and a number of other military facilities.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the Saratov Oil Refinery produces more than 20 types of petroleum products — gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, technical sulfur and others — which are involved in meeting the needs of the Russian occupation army.

“A series of explosions was recorded, after which a fire was observed in the target area. The results of the strikes are being clarified”, — the report says.

A UAV storage site at the “Saky” airfield in Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, was also hit.

“At the airfield, several air-defense facilities were struck, including a Pantsir-S1 and a Tor-M2 system. After suppressing the enemy’s air-defense assets, a hangar storing enemy ‘Orion’ and ‘Forpost’ drones was destroyed”, — the General Staff added.

In addition, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the enemy’s command-and-control dispatch point and a military cargo truck (KamAZ).

“The extent of the damage inflicted is being clarified. Moreover, concentrations of enemy personnel and fuel-and-lubricants depots in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were hit. The results are being verified”, — the General Staff reported.

The Defense Forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
