Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Serhii Boiev held a meeting with the Director of the Czech Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation Agency, Aleš Vytečka.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The parties focused on the implementation of the shell initiative for Ukraine. The delegations discussed delivery timelines and the available volumes of ammunition in the most priority categories.

Serhii Boiev thanked the Czech Republic for its consistent support in supplying Ukraine with artillery shells.

“Our priority is obtaining extended-range ammunition, which gives Ukrainian soldiers an advantage on the battlefield. The Czech Republic plays an extremely important role in the initiative that guarantees stable supplies of shells for the Defence Forces”, — the Deputy Minister of Defence emphasized.

The Czech side also provided information on the details of security assistance and the status of ammunition contracting.
